i looking to create a filter for my team and I can't seem to find the right formula. We have JIRA Premium and I'm trying to create my filter for Plan.
We have a team of Customer Success Manager that create request for customer's project to our Service Team. The Service create then a Epic and structure the project with stories and sub-task. Everything is in the same project in JIRA.
I want to create a filter that show progress on those epic. But I want it to be dynamic (all futures epic included). Those epic have the CSM as reporter so I though I could make a filter to show every epic that have a specific CSM as reporter AND all tickets under that epic (without that CSM as a reporter). Is it possible ?
Hello @Alexandre Thouin
Jira does not natively support nesting filters, which is essentially what you need.
There are third party apps that extend JQL capabilities to support that, such a Adaptavist ScriptRunner. That is not the only such app.
Do you have any apps like that already, or are you willing to acquire one?
Hum... since it's only for that kind of use case, I'll need to think on it...
