Jira Board rapid id not similar to the one mentioned in database

Hi All,

Project Lead was not able to manage sprint, upon reviewing noticed that board rapid id mentioned in URL is different than that one specified in database. How can I resolve this issue

The Manage Sprint permission is not based on the board. It is based on the projects for the issues that are in scope for the board.

If you are trying to address the Manage Sprint permission you need to review the filter associated with the board and ensure the Project Lead has the Manage Sprint permission in every project that is included in the filter.

On the topic of the mismatched rapid ID, what record are you looking at in the database?

The UI and database relationship is not as simple as you guess it might be.

The best thing to do is simply stop reading the database.  The UI and REST API will give you consistent and clear understandable data, rather than you having to assume (and get wrong) all the logic you need to apply when reading from the database.
