Is there a way to have the last history record display on a gadget? basically i'm trying to create a quick filter based on a date change which is fine, but want to display the last history record rather then going into each record.

Thoughts?

Do you want a gadget or a field in JIRA that shows it? If it use the second, use script runner and use a scripted field which can show the last history details.
