Jira License Renewal and update

I have a 50- user Jira License with and it is due to expire 25th of this month. If I purchase a 100 user license this time , do I have to just purchase and update the new 100 user license key ?

Or are there any other thing that I should take care opf when I am upgrading a license ?

Yes, just applying a 100 user licence will be enough. Paste in the new licence key and you're done. You don't need to worry about anything else here. (Downgrading licences, different story. Upgrade not an issue)
