i require multiple text area inputs on a ticket i'm creating. For example I need the user to be able to enter a reasonable amount of text (more than one line) under the following areas:
"Problem to be solved"
"Insight / data leading to the above conclussion"
"Proposed solution"
But I can only get one "description" type of field on a next gen board.
Someone please tell me I'm doing something wrong. I find it actually unbelievable that you would be limited to just one multi-line text area.
This isn’t possible today. However, this post was just updated yesterday by an Atlassian team member indicating additional text fields were coming. The communicated solution may work for you.
it looks like you read what was there and commented. the only thing i was trying to offer was that there was some movement in the area of adding additional multiline text fields - paragraph and environment.
