×Can you integrate Jira Service with Jira Cloud and link work tickets from Jira Service to Jira Cloud projects?
Hello @Hansen Longfellow
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
When you say "Jira Service" to you mean the Jira Service Management product?
Are you talking about an existing instance of that product?
If you are talking about an existing instance, is it a Atlassian SaaS Cloud-hosted product of a self-hosted Data Center product?
We currently have JIRA cloud SAAS version and we use Zendesk for client ticketing. We are looking at the JIRA Service tool. I wanted to know what type of integrations there may be. Ultimately I would like a clean way to connect Service tickets with JIRA Projects.

You can add the Jira Service Management product to your existing Jira Cloud SaaS instance. The Jira Service Management projects become available as another type of project in the same instance.
You can create links between the Service Management projects and Software projects just like you would link issues between two Software projects.
Beyond that we would need to know more about the specific integration functionality you are hoping to find. A lot of integration can be created through the use of Automation Rules.

I hope you are doing well.
I am Christophe a solution engineer @Exalate
With Exalate you can intigrate your Jira instances together, you can even link from one project to another within the same Jira instance.
The solution boasts a unique, decentralized approach to integrating various work systems together while providing full autonomy to each side of the connection.
Using this full autonomy, you can easily send your Service desk tickets to Jira Cloud projects. When an issue is synced you can apply updates that will reflect on the connected issue.
Exalate is easy and straightforward to set up and you can control exactly which data you want to send and/or receive.
If you would like to see a customized demo of the product, don't hesitate to book a slot with us.
Kind regards,
Christophe De Beule
