I would like to allow only specific IPs coming from Jira automation.
I checked the IP list at https://ip-ranges.atlassian.com/,
but I confirmed that the number was very large.
Are there any special IP ranges that Jira Automation uses?
If not, I wonder if it is possible to limit the IP list based on region and product.
The product division is relatively clear,
but it seems that the region cannot be restricted in the Jira system settings.
Thank you.
Hi @찬호랑이
You can restrict your data residency to a certain region under Jira Admin --> Security --> Data residency
Beware that some services and 3rd party apps may be unavailable during the data migration.
Ref: Understand data residency
thank you for your reply.
However, I think my question was misrepresented.
This refers to region restrictions on the origin of webhooks that occur in Jira Automation, not the data residency region.

Yeah, I should've explained as well, Jira Automation and Jira services are integrated, so the IP ranges used by outgoing requests from Automation go through the same Atlassian web proxy. When you restrict your Jira region, it also restricts the IP of your Automation.
It is a risky move though, I'd strongly advise you test this with maybe a free-tier account.
