Dear Community Admins,
this question is a bit complex, tried assisting a user with Jira frequent sign in prompts restore usual user experience, w/o work interrupted by Jira constantly requesting new sign in,
Issue is not caused by:
Internet connectivity, VPN stability, browser & settings, cookies, DNS,
Issue does not occur with other Atlassian products we are using, nor with other users,
which other factors could be relevant?

probably it's due to session timeout. You can increase it following this guide https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/change-the-default-session-timeout-to-avoid-user-logout-in-jira-server-604209887.html

this is a application change that affects all users. Afeter doing it you need to restart JIRA instance.
