Jira users export functionality issue

Hi,

I need the details of all users. However, when I exported only active users, I noticed that the file includes some users who have never accessed Jira. One column states "Never Accessed," while another column lists these users as "Active User." Am I missing something? Could you please shed some light on this issue?

Thanks,

Mahanth

Hi @MahanthPrudhvi ,

I understand you are exporting users from https://admin.atlassian.com and noticing columns that indicate a user is active under 'user status,' while the 'last seen' column shows 'never accessed.' This can be confusing, and you are seeking clarification.

The 'User status' column indicates that a user is active if they have accessed your site at least once since they were added. This status does not change over time.
However, the 'last seen' column reflects the user's activity over a certain period. If a user has accessed the site only once and has not returned for an extended period (e.g., more than 2 years), the 'last seen' status may change to 'never accessed.'

I hope this clarifies your query.

Best regards,
Yousuf
