Hi,
We are using Microsoft calendar to planning our meetings. Is there anyway add those schedule meeting time to project issues.
I need to add project meeting time to the Jira project. Is there anyway to do this without adding time manually.

Integrating Microsoft Calendar with Jira Cloud to automatically add meeting times to project issues involves using add-ons or external integration tools since Jira does not natively support direct integration with Microsoft Calendar. Here's how you can achieve this:
Microsoft Power Automate: Use Power Automate to create workflows between Microsoft Calendar (part of Microsoft 365) and Jira. You can set up an automation that triggers when a new event is created in your Microsoft Calendar and then creates a corresponding issue or updates an issue in Jira with the meeting time. This method requires some setup in Power Automate, including choosing the right triggers and actions for Microsoft Calendar and Jira.
Zapier: Zapier is another tool that can connect Microsoft Calendar with Jira. You can create a "Zap" that watches for new events in your Microsoft Calendar and then creates or updates issues in Jira with those event details. Zapier offers a visual interface to set up these automations without coding.
Explore the Jira Marketplace for apps that offer integration between Microsoft Calendar and Jira. These apps can help you sync calendar events directly with Jira issues.
If you have development resources available, you can create a custom integration using the Jira API and Microsoft Graph API. This method involves writing a script or application that listens for changes in your Microsoft Calendar and then uses the Jira API to update issues accordingly. This approach offers the most flexibility but requires programming knowledge and maintenance.
