Good day
Please advise if it is possible to make the Epic Link field mandatory when creating an issue in the backlog using the quick create functionality found at the bottom of the backlog.
Thanks
Overall I do not see any option to have make that required in Quick Create (on the bottom)
If you need automatically associate the issue with specific epic then from the backlog view do not use the bottom Quick Create, but expand specific epic (on the left) and then you would have a create link that you can use.
Idea of Quick Create is different, but after that you can still select new issues and drag and drop them into specific epic on the left and all would be associated with epics.
Either way result is the same, so no need to figure out more complex customization etc.
Thanks Mirek. Was looking for a way to force users to Epic link their stories and tasks upon creation if they created them via Quick Create on Backlog

Thanks Gustav.
We have used Behaviours (Adaptevist ScriptRunner add-on) to make the Epic Link mandatory when Creating an issue from the Create menu. Wanted to know if there is something similar to use but when creating an issue from the Backlog Quick Create function. I doubt it though
