Marketplace app for Jira

I currently have an app which can add activities against a Jira ticket. What I noticed was that the user name for the app is in lower case. I noticed that the vendor information is all upper case but the App key seems to be lower case. Is there any way to update the app to change the name of the app (in Jira).

Hey Philip,

If I understand correctly, you're looking to change the name of an add-on (that you are developing, correct?) in Jira Cloud so that it shows differently than the lower-case username that it currently has. Is that right?

Based on my current understanding, the name property in the app descriptor is used for the user that is granted permissions on projects / runs particular actions. The app key should be lower case and shouldn't really be showing to end users (although there are various places in the UI where they can see it - but in general they should see the name property instead). The documentation describes that property as "The human-readable name of the app".

Are you seeing something differently displayed as you're working through setting your app up?

Thanks,
Daniel
