Missing tasks on the board after release

Lilianna Klar-Wiaderek July 9, 2025

Hi, after recent release, included tasks disappeared from the board. Their status was changed to testing and we can no longer see them on the board. They are visible on the release list, but nowhere to be found in kanban. All of the board settings, filters etc. were checked.

Any idea why?

Hello @Lilianna Klar-Wiaderek

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

You said this occurred after a "recent release". Do you mean that the issues have a version specified in the Fix Versions field, and the status of that version was changed to Released?

Is the board a Kanban board for a Company Managed project?

If so, in addition to @Swathi Acharya suggestion be advised that Kanban boards for Company Managed projects by default will include a subfilter that hides issues that are in Released versions. This would hide the issues regardless of their status. You can remove that subfilter to stop the hiding of issues in Released versions.

Hello! Thank you very much for support. I have removed the sub-filter and my tasks are back on the board.

Regards,

Lilianna

Hello @Lilianna Klar-Wiaderek

Have you verified if the "Testing" status is mapped to any one of the columns in the Configure Board > Columns

Hello,

Yes, unfortunately that wasn't the case this time. Removal of sub-filters default option solved the issue. Thank you very much for you support!
