I have a workflow scenario that "needs" different approvals at different points in the process. For instance:
I guess this is similar to a Statement of Work becoming a signed contract for lack of a better comparison.
As I see it, I will have to create (in this example) 3 additional Approval Statuses and related transitions, e.g. - Approval2, Approval3, Approval4.
Is there a better or more accepted way to accomplish this?
Correct, you would need multiple approval statuses, and then either have a custom field for the approvers for each status or you would have to clear the approvers field after each status. I have a workflow in our HR project that have 6 approval statuses for promotion/transfers, two of these statuses can be bypassed depending on what is changing.
