Multiple issues and errors when creating EPICs from Smart Template

I have several Smart Templates being used within our organization, but for the past several weeks, when EPICs are created, they are being created with multiple errors that require upwards of 30 minutes to correct each. 

To begin with, I've tried to create one EPIC today, but it was created with details and contents from other smart templates. In addition to this, none of my variables are being populated at all, and I've tried using several of the variable options. The only results I get are the {{MonYYYY}} from the actual template. Additionally, when I make changes and updates to the smart templates, the changes are not taking affect, and I have to make these changes multiple times, and they finally "stick" after the 3rd or 4th time I've saved the template.

Has anyone else been experiencing this issue as well, or know what is happening or have a work around?

Do you mean that you are using the plugin of Smart Templates when you encounter these errors? If so, I would recommend you open a ticket to the vendor to ask for assistance - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1231143/smart-templates-issue-templates-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=support .

If you mean something else, please could you explain or show what is happening?
