Multiple projects in one board and workflow question

I created multiple projects from the agile getting started section. Each one uses Greenhopper simplified workflow, but when I create a separate ALL PROJECTS scrum board and go to Configure, the workflow says "GreenHopper Simplified Workflow unavailable. This board is unable to use a GreenHopper Simplified Workflow.Learn more about GreenHopper Simplified Workflow"

Which tells me all about Greenhopper vs Jira default workflows but still unsure. Questions below in ALL CAPS

1. created all projects and scrum boards from Agile: Getting Started
> oms, ecom, print server, design tool

2. All projects use Greenhopper Simplified Workflow
> Added Column "QA" between In Progress and Done for all boards
3. Created All Teams Scrum board with filter for all projects.
> This board does not support simplifed workflow. WHY?
> Added QA column and removed extra jira status to unmapped. IS THIS GOING TO HURT ME?

Why can't I switch to GreenHopper Simplified Workflow?

You will only be able to switch to GreenHopper Simplified Workflow if:

  • There is only one project being viewed by your board (to check this, look at the board's filter); and
  • That project uses a JIRA workflow scheme which only has one workflow for all issue types; and
  • Your workflow only uses Post Functions, Validators, and Conditions which are provided by Atlassian (not any which are provided by plugins); and
  • You have the 'JIRA Administrators' global permission; and
  • You are using JIRA version 5.0.4 or later (please see Supported Platforms).
