My hourly burndown is not reflecting the sum of Time Remaining of the sub tasks

All of our time logging is done at the sub task level. When I burn down hours on my sub tasks I expect to see those hours roll up into the parent story and burndown accordingly. Problem is that my burndown chart shows zero hours. Am I supposed to manually add the sum of the sub task hours to the parent story on a daily basis?

Robert,

You dont need to sum up the values to the parent on a daily basis :)

Again, is this a Rapid board or the Classic board?

Are you using rapid boards? If so, I had to configure the boards to use time estimation on the burndown instead of using story points.

When you choose to configure your board, click on the 'Estimation' tab, and in the section 'Time Tracking' select the radio button for 'Remaining Estimate and Time Spent'.

Hope this helps.

Are you seeing the hours logged per ticket under the burndown chart? The Event Detail should show hours logged and the remaining reduced.

And to be clear, your stories are in an active sprint?
