Need to view all issues at one place

Hemant Shah November 7, 2022

We are a team of 35+ members each member creates their respective issues in their respective boards but we need a view as an admin to view each and every issue raised on the portal.
So we can see what work is in progress and how much are completed.

Hi @Hemant Shah ,

you have posted this question under Jira work management and yet you mention portal which is a Jira service management feature. Can you please confirm what product you are inquiring about here? You also mention users are creating issues in there boards. Are you saying that each individual create their own kanban board. Generally this is not something I would recommend but it really depends on your requirements and how your team works. You can easily create a kanban board that can be quickly filtered by individuals. That is the purpose of the avatars at the top and you can also use quick filters for a similar behavior. If indeed you are working with JWM then it should default to a board that includes all issues for that project.

Thanks for that. In JWM the default board will show all issues in the associated project. If you are wanting a board that spans multiple projects then create a board based upon a filter, e.g. project in (a,b,c,d), and set the location to your profile.

@Hemant Shah - I think you're after a "helicopter" view across multiple project boards? I'm in need of similar... this is a feature that is in development by Atlassian at this time.... although I've not got an idea when it will be available!

True this is what as an entrepreneur I would like to know whats happening in all my projects and get a holistic view of everything so things are in place in work management.

@Jack Brickey is there any way where we can see everything

My team has grew from 35 member to 60 member its getting difficult to have a view of everything.

Hi @Hemant Shah  - It's not clear how many separate projects you have or if there is even a need for having multiple projects. Individual members should not have separate projects for their own work if that is what is happening. Projects in Jira are intended to be team and/or product based.

Having said all of that, I would suggest you create a board that consolidates all of the projects in the filter used to create the board. Here is an article that will guide you on how to do that.
