Next-Gen estimation on sub-tasks level

Dear Community! :)

I'm relatively new, especially in Next-Gen projects, hence I wanted to check with you how you are doing estimates of issues with several sub-tasks (aka child issues).

Let's imagine, we have parent, with 4 children, each one estimated to 1 SP - so 4 SP in total on Parent level.

- are you adding estimated only to Parent?

- or only Children?

- or maybe both? IF yes, is it impacting sprint capacity - e.g. 8 in total?
