Hi,

I used to use Sprint in "
openSprints()" function, but recently i noticed it stopped working. Any idea why? Did Jira software replace it with something else?

Hi @Sharon Youmans ,

Seems to work fine for me.

Can you share the query and error you are getting?

I see, it seems someone might have created another field called "Sprint" in your Jira and JQL is confused which one to choose.

Ideal would be to rename the newly created field to something else, so it does not interfere. Quick fix would be to choose one of that fields, as the error suggests, in this case I guess it should be:

"Sprint[Dropdown] in openSprints()"

Hi @Adam Rypel _MoroSystems_@Adam Rypel _MoroSystems_

How do i find the new custom field 'Sprint'? when i do a global search only this sprint field comes up for me

I would select the sprint value from the dropdown. It doesn't populate any values for me though

I retested, Sprint [dropdown] does display 3 sprints. I'll look for them within my projects.

I selected one of the options in the drop down and the results came back empty. I dont know how to find the customized sprints. I searched.

How do i use this function, Sprint cf[10004]?

@Adam Rypel _MoroSystems_

My co-worker informed me that she did create a Sprint custom field. I would like to delete it. The problem is i am not able to locate it. When i search under custom fields, the only Sprint field that comes up is the Jira locked one.

Any ideas on how i can find it so i can remove it from Jira? Thanks

@Sharon Youmans Maybe try to look into "Trashed" tab under the "Custom fields" heading.

If that does not show any, we can try to find the custom field according to the ID your JQL returned (cf[10004]). To do that, you need to go to Custom fields -> pick random custom field -> click three dots -> Edit details. Up in the URL you can see the ID at the end.

Replace the number with "10004". Then the field which is causing problems should come up.

Your URL would then look like this: https://adamrypel1.atlassian.net/secure/admin/EditCustomField!default.jspa?id=10004

, just with your instance URL.
