Oracle DB Compatibility issues with JIRA 7.13.

we are using jira vesrion 7.6 with db version oracle 12.1.0.2.0(JDBC driver version 12.2.0.1.0) . Planing to upgrade JIRA to 7.13 . 

will there be any compatibility issues with the current db version ?

When upgrading you should review the upgrade notes of all relevant versions, in this case 7.7.x until 7.13.x

Oracle 12c1 should be okay but best practise is to always check it :-)

which file we have to configure the jdbc and where do we mention the jdbc driver version ?

JIRA needs a database driver to connect to your database. The driver is in a file with the '.jar' suffix, it needs to be copied to the  <JIRA installation directory>/lib/ directory.

You can find the Oracle JDBC drivers here.

Please review the Supported platforms documentation, for Jira 7.13 you'll see that Oracle 12c R1 is supported and you can use the 12.2.0.1 driver.

It is ok, but i found some errors, you should patch the database ORACLE to the last patch (now May 2019)
