I have an issue of Type Test Plan in a Test Managment System. For this testplan, there are already 2 testexecutions.

When opening the Testplan, the Overall Execution Status is not and will not be shown. Instead an error is shown (see below). I expect to see a colored bar and a test statistic with all results from the latest issue of type Test Execution that is linked with the testplan (see also below). However, for this latest Test Execution, the colored bar with the statistic is shown, when opening the the issue of type Test Execution.

I know from other users, they can see the Overall Execution Staus and everything I expect to see. I suspect the root cause in a filter (because I was playing around with the filter when the error occurred), that can't be properly evaluated. In this case (or generally speaking everytime) I should be able to clear the filter. And unfortunately I'm not, because the occurring error prevents to show the Filter Button with the Clear Button subsequently.

I've not found any recovery, so it's in my opinion a high severe bug

What I've done so far:

Hey @Björn Kramer ,

I've played with Xray a while back, but I know some of my colleagues are implementing this tool/app in one environment. We usually get quite good responses when reaching out to Xray support team, so I would suggest discussing this with them as well via one of their support channels.

I did add a specific label to this question, but I'm not sure if anyone from their side is browsing the Community forums and will check on this one here. 👀

If you do manage to resolve this together with the vendor's support team, feel free to share the resolution here in any anyone else stumbles upon the same thing.

Cheers,
Tobi
