Planning view - hide other status

For many reasons we use a seperate status when an issue has been comlpeted by a developer, but is currently in testing. In the planning view you can hide closed issues. However, I'd like to have the system consider issues that are in testing to be considered closed for planning purposes. Is there a way to have the system hide issues of a specified status?

The new boards consider an issue closed (i.e do not show it in Plan mode and show it as completed in the burndown / sprint report) when it is in the last column configured on the board. So you could configure your board to have 'in testing' as the last column. If you wanted the issues to be hidden as well you could define a quick filter "status != 'In Testing'" which would result in the column still being present but being empty.

Thanks,
Shaun
