Hi,
We are trying to make easy release notes that summarizes Jira case Description and Jira case nr in a good and fetchable way. Today's "Release notes" under "Release" only shows "Summary". Is there any way to get the field "Description" to be picked up? Either in Confluence (if Release notes doesn't work) or in Release notes.
Or... any plug available for this? Lot's of options to look at, but haven't found anyone that highlights description fetching. If the plug-in also offers to put png company logo and create a template etc, that is a plus!
Thanks in advance
Johan
Have you looked at the Automated release notes app for Jira? If you are happy copy/pasting you may even start with the free version of automated release notes app.
ARN allows you to choose any fields from Jira to be included in the release notes document. Additionally, you can configure beautiful templates (that meet your branding needs) & then reuse them.
In addition to what you are trying to achieve, ARN does offer a number of other things.
Best,
Anand
PS - I am the product owner of ARN apps.
Thank you for the reply. We have now implemented this and I am working with the Chrome release page of it. It solved our demands but of course I do have some constructive feedback to give. Let me know if you want it personally or if you have a mail/form for it.
