Profile Pictures are not showing correctly

Hi,

I have a problem with incorrect profile pictures. The custom ones (with real pictures) are not showing up in comment sections oder something like that. Inside the profile the picture is showing up correctly.

Is there probably a problem with the picture or could it be a misconfiguration?

A SSL-Certificate fixed the issue.

is the problem on pictures with custom content of all users, or only for some uses with custom pics?

I remember there was some problem that only specific types (png or jpg) were affected, because they were not created properly.
