Hi,
Our leads wants to set only 3 new Project Category to be used.
There are some existing Project Category already in use and I wanted to trace if there are some things that might be using those that will be affected if it'll be deleted.
I can only think of Filters and Dashboard.
Is there anything else I need to check where the current Project Categories might be used?
Hi Maria,
You should also check Automation rules.
Thanks for this. Is there another way of checking Projects Automation aside from checking one by one or asking Atlassian Support?
From what I know REST API is not available based from https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-51 .

Hello @Maria Mariella Bautista , as from this page: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/add-assign-and-delete-project-categories/ , reports will be affected as well. If you previously delete the categories that are no longer needed, you won't be able to query them.
To see which projects are using their respective project categories go to Settings (cog wheel) -> Projects , you will see the list of projects and within the Category columns, you will see everything.
