Hello,
at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Adding+an+Issue+to+a+Sprint there are clear instructions on how to add an issue (Story) to an alredy running sprint, but drag and drop does not trigger the addition of the task in the Work view of the Rapid Board.
I tried with configuring the default screen to show an internal managed Sprint field and editing it with some numeric number did the trick, but this is clearly very inconvinient.
I tried with Chrome and IE9, JIRA 5.0.6, GH 5.10.4.1
Well, as it turns out, I was dropping the issue at the wrong place - above the sprint marker in the backlog instead on the field above the backlog, named "Sprint In Progress: XYZ".
Solved. Maybe guys at Atlassian can improve the docs.
There has been some previous problems on Chrome/Mac's to drag and drop in planning mode into the sprint. I believe that has been fixed.
When you drag the card/issue up on top of the active sprint does it turn green and show an add to sprint label (note attached image)?
Respectfully,
Jeremy Neuharth

Do have permissions to edit this issue, to schedule issues in the projects shown on the Rapid Board and are a project administrator for all projects shown in the board?
You probably need to raise this with suppot at https://support.atlassian.com
Thanks,
Shaun
