Adding notifications on ticket creations to the group as well as when assigned to the assignee

I would like a notification to a group when the call is logged. As well as When the ticket is assigned to notify the assignee of the assignment.  

 

Am very New to the app If anyone could point out the Obvious to me :)  I have tried enabling the notification but its not working so am missing something.

Hi Riaan,

First of all, I would like to understand the nature of the project that you are working with. Is it a Service desk project or other.

 

Please follow the below steps to send a notification to a group, when an issue is created:

  • Go To Project--> Select the required project --> Project Settings --> Notifications
  • On the right top Corner --> Action Edit the Notification scheme
  • Now modify the Notification scheme as required.

Hi Thank you for your reply.

 

We have created a service desk for out IT offices in Jira.

I have 4 people in the Group.

What I want is that when a new ticket enters the system that all 4 these people get an email that an unassigned ticket has been logged.

then secondly when said ticket is assigned to a specific person that person in turn also receives an email that the ticket has been logged to him/her.
