Automation question

HaRsHaS_ V August 25, 2025

I want to use automation when a critical ticket in the release is unresolved. Is this possible, if not what is the alternative?

Hello @HaRsHaS_ V ,

You can use this automation structure Captura de pantalla 2025-08-26 090819.png

Hi @HaRsHaS_ V ,

Yes. it is possible. You just need to setup your automation to be triggger by field value. In this case, for example, is to look for priority = critical and resolution = unresolved.

All the best!

Hi @HaRsHaS_ V

Would you please clarify your question?

For example, do you want to do one of these:

  1. when a Resolved work item has its Resolution field cleared, then do ???
  2. when a completed / done work item is transitioned backwards from completed / done Status, then do ???
  3. or something else

And, what do you want the rule to do when this change happens?

Before proceeding, I recommend pausing to review the basics of automation rules, how they are structured, and what they can accomplish:

Kind regards,
Bill
