Automation rule is not running

I have a simple rule set up to add users as watcher when the Labels value is populated with a specific tag. The rule is now working.

  • The Jira story that is create is through an automated task. I've tested the submission process and have confirmed that the Labels field is populated with the appropriate tag.
  • My rule is enabled.
  • My audit log doesn't show any errors.
  • The watchers are not added to the story when the story is created.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Since your work item is created via another automation you have to go to rule details and click the box "Check to allow other rules..." for it to work.
