Automations - Need new automation for any new issue created to be auto-assigned to current sprint

I thought this one would be easy as the project is still in test and has a single sprint started.    I've tried twice, and the only option I get when I do EDIT ISSUE FIELD for sprint is active sprint or next sprint.    It will always be the active sprint; in fact, this project will only ever have 1 sprint.    What did I miss?Screen Shot 2022-04-18 at 3.22.21 PM.pngScreen Shot 2022-04-18 at 3.22.00 PM.png

It suggests your issue is not set up as a sprintable item, the message is implying it has no sprint field available to set.

I am curious though, what problem are you trying to solve with this?  If you're only going to do one sprint in the project, why are you bothering to do the sprint?  The whole point of sprints is that you do many of them.

found the issue -- i had not started the sprint.    In answer to Nic -- this is a strange situation where the team wanted a scrum project template but they are a support team and will never work in sprints.   They should have gone with a different template in the beginning.
