Can't enter minutes in TimeLogs

Jim McLachlan March 9, 2022

We just set up and began using Jira for issues and tasks recently. When I enter my time in a time log, I type 2h 30m and save it, but the minutes are not registered. It says I only logged 2 hours. When I edit the time log, it only indicates 2h. Is it possible there is a setting that affects this?

Hi Carlos, thanks for chiming in. I have three screen shots for you, the first is the entry I make, the second is the resulting English that summarizes it, and the third is when I edit the original log, just to see if it is the English sentence that is the problem.Capture.PNGCapture-b.PNGCapture-c.PNG

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the community!

Could you please provide us an image of how exactly are you logging time and where?

You are suppose to be able to log 2h 30m as you can see on the image below:

If you could provide us an image it would be really helpful.

Cheers,

Carlos
