Hi all, we have a user that no longer uses the system so we want to deactivate them. An error occurs though stating that we can't as they're a lead in a project. But checking the project and key it looks like it doesn't exist at all.

Anyone know what we can do and check. Even clicking on the project link on the error message redirects to a project that doesn't exist.

I wonder if it got removed or archived or something someway?

This is on Jira Data Center.

Thanks :).

Hi all, I found the answer. Looks like someone has placed the project as "archived" and so Jira couldn't open/find it. Checking the sidebar in the project list shows the project there.

Unfortunately you can't remove the lead of an archived project, so looks like may need to bring it back. But at least we know its not a data issue. Cheers
