Can we display Issue Link data outside of the Issue View in JIRA? E.g. in a Gadget or in the Issues Search Results?

Issue Matrix is nice for viewing Linked issue data while reviewing an Issue on the full "View issue" page.  Our users have a need where they would like to view data on linked issues across many issues.

E.g.  in one JIRA project we have issues of type "Requirement" that have an "Is covered by" relationship to issues of various types (e.g. Backlog Item) on a separate Work management project.

We would like to see a listing of all "Requirement" issues of certain statuses (various in-progress type statuses) and also view information on Linked Work-Item issues.

To rephrase, we want to see a listing of requirements, and all of the linked issues to those requirements and the statuses of those various linked issues.

Hi Allan,

Issue Matrix was specifically targeted at the view issue screen. It does not currently support visualizing links or sub-tasks anywhere else. However, we do have open requests to show link information in the navigator ( ILV-46 OPEN ) and show the matrix in the details view of Agile boards ( ILV-15 OPEN ). We plan to implement those in the future, but I can't give you a timeline just yet - please watch the issues for updates.
