Can you assign more than one person to a task?

I keep trying to assign more than one person to a task and it won't let me. Is there a way to do this?

Or consider using subtasks if each person is actually responsible for a different aspect of the task.

Not by default. An option is to use a multi user custom field and use that to populate the users. You will have to then use the same field in permissions, notifications etc just like the assignee field is used.

One thing you will miss out is the option to use "Assign" operation to set that field.
