Hi all
I'm trying to find the instructions to change my email address in Jira and I don't seem to be able to do it.
Also I can login with Jira account and also with G+. Does it mean it is Sync with Google account or Jira account?
When I click on my user and select user profile when I try to change my email, the following message in the tab says:
Managed account
Your account is managed by your organization.
Contact your organization administrator to change your email address.
I'm actually the Site Admin and when I went to the Organization page there were nothing. So I created an organization to try it but I had to set the domain, and I didn't do it yet. Do I need to do that to really change an user email or even mine?

Probably you're using the Atlassian ID and this account is a managed account.

We never created the organization before inside the Atlassian menu. I just created one for my organization recently, but I just wanted to make sure it doesn't messed up our setup, thanks.

It depends on what user management you are using.
If you're on Google, the users change it there, if it's your own directory via SAML, then look in that. If you're using Atlassian accounts (the default), then it's in https://id.atlassian.com.

So I clicked on the https://id.atlassian.com. When I got to the Email tab:
Your account is managed.
Contact your administrator to change your email address.
I assume there is something weird, I'm the Site Admin, but I don't seem to be able to modify it any ways. Could you let me know how do I verify on Jira if it is link by Google or using the Atlassian accounts? Thanks
