Configuring swim lanes

We have GreenHopper 6.1.

1. Does rapid board needs to be enabled in GreenHopper in order to be able to configure swim lanes as described in this link: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH061/Configuring+Swimlanes
2. If answer to 1 is no. What is needed to have this feature enabled (being able to configure swimlanes).

My understanding is that the article you mention is specific to Rapid boards. I believe there was some ability to configure swimlanes when using Classic boards but I honestly can't recall what it was. You could try searching out some greehopper documentation from an older version of Greenhopper and see what it says.
