Our BA creates a Confluence report to show our end users our current development tickets, but needs to add text around the ticket that explains each item in simple English.
Is there a way to parse the ticket titles into a Confluence page in such a way that he could add his own text under each? He's tried the Jira Macro which brings all tickets, but doesn't let him really work around them.
He can export them through the filter tool and copy + paste them of course, but looking for an automated way as he'll be doing this each release
You can add a text custom field in Jira to add the required content for each Jira ticket (issue) as needed.
Then in the Confluence page while adding the Jira macro, you can specify to include this custom field also under the 'Display options' for the macro. So Confluence will dynamically load the data from the Jira where it is updated.
