Hello,
we would like to create a Jira project template for our employee onboarding. Whenever a new employee joins the team, he should get his own Jira project with some tasks for the first 30 days.
For this it would be necessary to duplicate this project template every time a new employee joins.
How is it possible to implement such a process with Jira? I have not found a way so far....
Hi, @Henry Auffahrt
⠀
It’s very important to structure such Business Processes as Onboarding. So, read the article about onboarding in Jira.
And if you`re open to the Jira plugins, you can try out Business Process Manager Add-on allows standardizing the onboarding process. Also, Onboarding Template are already built-in. So, you need to choose assignees and set scheduling for task creation.
Hope, It can help to make the onboarding process more independent.
Hi,
Wondering why a whole new project per employee Vs a parent issue with sub-tasks in a single project?

Hi @Henry Auffahrt ,
What a great idea for onboarding!
natively it is nog possible to clone a project and all its issues, but there are a some different apps that can help if you want.
You can read this older question about it.
Good luck!
