Hi everyone,

There are many times that we assign sub-tasks of a story to different people. On the main board, we want to be able to view not only stories assigned to each developer, but also be able to to see that subtasks assigned to the developer. I am assuming that this is possible by configuring the board. How can we accomplish this?

Thanks in advance,

Mehrdad

Hello,

Assuming you are on the rapid boards, the Work mode lets you see who is assigned to what using Swimlanes.Go to your board configuration, select the Swimlanes tab, choose the sorting type to be Assignees.

Your board will now show you issue cards categorized according to assignees, and subtasks will be shown too with its card slightly indented to the right.

If you're talking about plan mode then as of now there is no way to customize the columns showing up in the backlog. (You can however customize the issue detail view which pops up to the right when you click on an issue)

Yes, actually I was talking about the plan mode. A few had mentioned that I can use a filter to configure it this way. However, being a newbie, I haven't been able to come up with the correct filter.
