Email Notifications - Jira

1. I wanted to know how to set email notifications when there is any activity on a Jira assigned to you - example, Get notification when the Jira gets assigned to you, when comments are added on that Jira, etc.

2. Also wanted to know how to get notifications when someone adds you to a comment in a Jira that is not assigned to you.

Its all based on the notification scheme you set up for your project.

We have many events in the notification scheme just add the reporters based on your requirement.

2.If a user mentions your name prefixing with @ you will receive notification.
