Hi,
We have JIRA 7.9.0 and Jira Service Desk 3.12.0 installed.
We also have HTTPS configured on the server but the certificate has an error.
The problem is that we are experiencing many communication errors.
For example:
When loading the Issue Navigator I constantly get these errors:
- The gadget feed url health check has failed in your system
- The JIRA server could not be contacted. This may be a temporary glitch or the server may be down.
Also, when loading a simple filter such as order by created we recieve an error under the search box:
- Error occurred communicating with the server. Please reload the page and try again
But reloading does not solve the error.
I also clicked Ctrl + Shift + i (Inspect element) and saw that I get a lot of errors of 403.
Maybe the error 403 is because of a wrong configuration in HTTPS certificate?
Also, when I load a project, I cannot see any resources (for example issues) in the page.
I would apprecitiate your help as this is very urgent for us.
Thank you,
Alon Biner
Hi,
There might be multiple reason for this.As log details are not there you can check following.
Was there any change done or is it a new installation?
1.Please check that indexes are not corrupt by navigating to indexing section.
2.If this is a new certificate. You may have to import the ssl cert to java cacerts.
3.Is the base URL set correctly?
Hi Sara,
Thank you for replying.
I could not attach the log file to the ticket.
This JIRA is a clone of a production environment of JIRA Service Desk.
1. I was able to run the re-index on JIRA so it is not corrupt.
2. This JIRA service desk server is a clone of
3. The base URL of JIRA is set correctly.
Thank you.
Alon
