Export user and group information

VL May 13, 2021

HI, I need an export from our instance of user and the group(s) they are in and the last login time.

The screen doesn't allow me to export. and a quick search through forums presents addins - is there no way for me to do this (as a jira admin) without adding more tools or software?

Hi VL

If you're running Jira on-prem (server/data centre) you can export this information from the database. This community post should provide some guidance on what to do.

We use the Admin Tools for Jira addon to get nicely formatted exports for groups, users and login info such as what you're after. I would recommend this as it is not very expensive compared to most other addons that you could get.
