The old Jira web interface had a button to print and export the issue to excel or word. I haven't found it yet with the new interface. Does that exist with the new interface?
The export function should be restored. Taking it away impacts our work flow.
Hi Michael, on the top right corner you'll have the option to export the ticket to Word file:
Would this help?

Hi Paulo,
Thanks for your reply.
My UI has the same option, but only with the old interface. New new ui has removed that button.
Here is a screen capture of the new UI...
There is not export button and the "..." in the upper right does not have the option to export that I can discern.

Hi Michael,
It seems that it's not possible to export to Word in the new issue view. There's a suggestion ticket opened for this (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-71111). There is a workaround for this, as mentioned in the suggestion:
Create a search JQL like Issuekey = NP-6, in Search issues and export.
Let me me know if this helps!
Paulo

Hi Paulo,
It would be great if this feature was added "back" to the new view. The workaround is helpful though.
Thanks,
Mike

The export function was essential to extract comments. This function is truly missed!
It would be great if this feature back.

Donovan

Yes, extracting information from JIRA is painful without this feature. This function was essential for organizing tickets for reports and communicating with other parties. I try to use the old version whenever possible to avoid loosing this feature. Please add it back! Thank you.
