I am unable to create a Jira site. When I try to sign up and create a site with the URL xxxxx.atlassian.net, I receive the following error:
"Something went wrong on our end. Please try again. If this keeps happening, contact support. (Issue ID: b14fc8991bdc4d14b69ffee278acfd8d)"
I have tried: Using different browsers Switching devices Changing WiFi networks Trying different accounts Despite these attempts, I keep encountering the same issue.
Additionally, when I try to submit a support ticket, I am unable to provide my site URL because the site was never successfully created.
Additional Troubleshooting Steps
Attempted:
Granted all permissions to cookies
Disabled ad blockers
Despite these efforts, I am still unable to create the Jira site. Please help resolve this issue.
Can you please advise, what is the actual name of the site you are trying to create?
Note. When creating an Atlassian Cloud instance (Confluence or Jira), the site name (subdomain) must be at least 6 characters long and cannot contain certain special characters like "/", "\", "\"", "%", ":", "$", "?", "@", or "*"
Unfortunately, I still cannot resolve it. I cannot file a ticket since I don't have a site id to use to file the ticket so basically I have been stuck on this

Hi @Ron Mukuya and @Ron-can-cloud
I understand that you are seeing this error when trying to complete a sign-up for Atlassian Cloud. Are you by chance located in China? I ask because there is a known limitation where the firewall of China has been known to restrict access to a captcha service that we use in order to validate that the request is not created by a bot or script.
Unfortunately, since that service seems to be getting blocked in your case by network your page does not show the captcha, and hence you cannot complete it to proceed. The recommendation we have seen work in other such cases is to request to temporarily use a VPN service to connect outside of China first. From there the captcha should be able to appear on the page. Once completed that should allow you to complete the sign up. From there you likely will not need to use the VPN to access the site.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know.
Regards,
Andy

@Ron Mukuya - any luck since you last tried? Maybe try again?
As of right now, Atlassian's systems seem to be fine - https://status.atlassian.com - but they may have been experiencing issues when you were trying hours ago.
