Get the sum of the story points for an epic parent issue type

Hello,

We created an issue type that countain many epics.

We manage the hierarchy with "Advanced roadmap" plugin and the "Parent link" field.

Using "rich filter" plugin on the dashboard, we can get the sum of story points for all the items that an epic contain, we want to do the same for a superior item.

Do you have any idea ?

I need to sum up all epic's children in rich filter . can you share. how you did it?

Hi David,

You can see a sum of the story points for all items in an epic by checking the others box for Roll-up in the view settings panel. This will then display the sum in the story points field:
