How can I hide issue IDs from JIRA Agile's sprint cards?

I'd like to remove the KEY-XXX that appears at the top of every card in the sprint's Work view in order to free up more space on the card for the issue's summary. I can see the ability to add more fields to the ticket, but is there any way to remove this existing one (short of writing my own browser extension to clear it)?
