How do I get email alerts?

How do I get email alerts for my OnDemand install? I want my developers to receive an email whenever a task is assigned. I found instructions online, but the steps don't seem to match my install.

Unfortunately no. I follow the instructions but my OnDemand seems different. I'm not finding the same links the wiki article refers to. I'll keep trying.

Same trouble here. While the configuration is doable, setting up the SMTP mail server documentation does not follow what's available with OnDemand.
