How do I modify the card layout on a Next-Gen board?

I'd like to display the Due Date field of each issue in the new Next-gen board I created. I'm able to do this in the classic board but the "Board Settings" menu option isn't available on my next-gen board - the only option is Manage Rules. How can I add fields to the card layout?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hello Everyone,

Today Atlassian announced that when priority and due date are configured on an issue type, they will display these on the card in the backlog and board. This is a first step towards letting you customise the card layout.

Please Atlassian can you have a look at this one?

We need more than the due date and the priority on our cards: we need to be able to add any custom field we have created.

Thanks!

Is there any information when this feature will be available to next-gen board?

Is this on the roadmap? This is one of the things keeping us from switching to next-gen projects.

the only roadmap we as users have access to is here and I don't see it. However, I'm not sure it really is all inclusive. Strongly encourage the use of "Feedback" button.

It's on the roadmap - see 'Card Layout' under Coming Soon:

"When priority and due date are configured on an issue type, we'll display these on the card in the backlog and board. This is a first step towards letting you customise the card layout."

^ This aids the original request at least...

Look at that! It's 2025... Can I modify the layout now?

This seems to be the vehicle for pushing for this feature:

Please move your +1's to votes on that ticket.
