I would like to reduce the JWM notifications when working in a ticket. I just want to be notified when a new item is created. I do not want to be notified for every edit or child issue.

I assume you are using Company Managed in Jira Work Management. In this case, you can edit the configuration under the Slack Integration section on the project settings page. I have attached a screenshot for reference.

Good day, In case you are not finding any slack configuration shown by @Murat Seven then there are chances you have an automation rule to send the notification. You can check automation rules as well. Thanks
